Starter question: What was/is your favorite love song and why (this could be a dangerous question…feel free to pick another one if you like!! ☺)

Head 

  • As a group, read first Matthew 9:14-17 What do you understand Jesus saying here? He was asked about fasting, but answered with talking about clothing and wineskins. What point is he making?

  • Break your group into two groups, take 20 minutes to talk about the people in these stories and their various heart responses to Jesus:

    • 9:18-26

    • 9:27-34

  • Come back together and have each group share some observations.

Heart 

  • Share about a time when your heart was very responsive to Jesus.

Hands

  • What do you believe is the most important aspect of keeping your heart open to Jesus?
